Alex & other taking the first zodiac to put in the field station

Assisting with putting in the field station on King George Island was definatley the highlight of the trip coming down. The boat stayed out in the bay and we took out zodiacs with loads of gear and food to last the group the next 5 months. The station is specifically there in order to study penguins, therefore the station is located in the middle of a huge Gentoo penguin colony. The penguins were absolutely everywhere! They were everything I had hoped they would be and more.
